Rabbi Shaya Mintz
Executive Vice President

After spending 15 years immersed in Limud Hatorah at Yeshivas Ner Yisroel (Baltimore) and Mirrer Yeshiva in Yerushalaim, Rabbi Mintz and his family moved to St Louis, Missouri to join the St Louis Kollel. For 13 years, Rabbi Mintz dedicated his kochos to the Kollel’s mission of Limud Hatorah as well as community outreach, ultimately becoming it’s Executive Director. In that capacity, Rabbi Mintz utilized his innovative skills and creativity to enhance, restructure and expand the Kollel’s shiurim, programs, and annual fundraising campaigns. Rabbi Mintz is excited to apply his experience in his new position in Toronto, as he collaborates with the Roshei Kollel, Board, and lay leadership to insure the vibrancy and future growth of Kollel Toronto.
 

Rabbi Nosson Hofman
Menahel/Dean of Students & Administrator

Rabbi Hofman is the Dean of Students of the Kollel and its Administrator (Menahel). He is an alumnus of BMG-Lakewood (1974-78) and was a close disciple of Rav Shneur Kotler zt”l. After his marriage he moved to Israel and studied in the renown Brisk Yeshiva for four years. In 1983 he joined the Kollel Toronto as an avreich. In 1992 he was asked to join the Hanahala and set up the Hanahala/Administrative Department. Working hand in hand with the Roshei Kollel, Rabbi Hofman helps maintain the day to day operations of Kollel Toronto IAJS.

Rabbi Shea Miller
Executive Director

Rabbi Shea Miller, son of the Rosh Kollel joined the Kollel in 1982. As Executive Director he manages the Kollel properties and scholar residences on a daily basis. He also heads the yearly parlour meeting fund raiser.

Mr. Albert Engel F.C.A. OBM Executive Vice President 1992-2017

Albert Engel joined the Kollel in 1986 as an assistant to Rabbi Rivlin after serving as chief of collections and audit supervisor (Toronto region) of Revenue Canada for 33 years. In 1992 after Rabbi Rivlin retired Mr. Engel became our Executive Vice President of fundraising activities. Mr. Engel passed away in June 2017 after a short illness. May his memory be a Mayletz Yosher.
